I had a Sake tasting event a while ago with an incredible Artisan Sake Maker from Granville Island: Masa Shiroki. He is the only Sake Producer in BC, Canada.

Oh my goodness, his Sake is so smooth and tasty. Please give it a try. He and his team are serious. They are growing authentic Japanese rice outside of Vancouver. A fantastic process using their handmade ingredients.

Lots of Sake lovers joined this event. I made some traditional, handmade Japanese appetizers to pair with each sake tasting: Goma (sesame) tofu, dried Koya tofu with Yuzu pepper, and more. Yummy.
