Amazake Power Drink

Amazake甘酒 is a power drink. We call it a "drinkable IV"飲む点滴. It is translated as sweet sake, but my Amazake is non-alcoholic."

Amazake is a traditional fermented drink made from only rice and rice koji.

Amazake is an excellent source of probiotics and very high in nutrients- glucoseブドウ糖, Amino acidアミノ酸, vitamin B1, B2, B6 ビタミン, folic acid葉酸, enzyme酵素, fiber食物繊維.

While it is a power drink, you can use it in your cooking, baking, and smoothies instead of using sugar.

I don't have white sugar in my home because of Amazake.

Making Amazake is an intense, laborious process. I can only make five jars at a time, which takes five days to complete. It will only last one week as it is alive, so use it up while it is still good.
